DESIGN PROCESS

The design process is a completed in phases and collaborative approach between designer and client. First we take the time to get to know you, your lifestyle, your needs and how you want to use your new space. Once a client brief is formulated we then translated this into a design, Regular meetings are held after each phase to ensure a smooth process throughout.

CONCEPT DESIGN

After a brief has been agreed, a topographical survey is required for all our garden designs, which captures both the layout of the site as well as all levels and utilities. From this, concept designs in both 2d and 3d are produced. Moodboards are also produced to support the concept. At this stage, the focus is very much on the layout, rather than specific details.

Phase 5

PLANTING PLAN

The planting plan shows the locations of all the proposed plants, along with a plant schedule listing exact names, sizes and quantities used for costing, ordering and setting out plants. A moodboard of all plants is included so that you get a feel for the look we are aiming to achieve, and a maintenance schedule can be produced to ensure you, or your gardener, is confident in looking after your garden for years to come.

TENDERING AND SITE VISITS

The tender package is then put together and sent to contractors to quote. We can recommend a trusted contractor who can bring the designs to life, or you are welcome to use a contractor of your choosing. Once the build is underway, we offer the option for regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure the project is built according to the plans.
